Built from our own production
We build the 904 Carrera GTS gearbox entirely from our own production — down to the parts that have not been available to buy for decades. The unit sits finished and set up in stock and only needs bolting into the car; the settings come documented with it.
Exactly the parts a 904 wears out
Whatever holds a 904 up in historic racing, we machine ourselves:
- Gearbox shafts with a slip-fit 2nd gear — the well-known 904 feature, remade to size in high-strength steel
- Nardella stub axles, ground and heat-treated, because the originals disappeared long ago
- Final drive and limited-slip differential from the same workshop
Every part fitted in the gearbox is available individually as a spare, immediately — if you campaign the car, wear is part of the plan, and the spare comes off the shelf rather than out of a production queue.
Keep your numbers or swap from stock
Both routes end in a gearbox ready to install: rebuilding your own unit preserves your matching numbers — the complete gearbox from stock saves the wait when the next date is closer than the strip-down. More about the type: 904 gearbox.
